Product Description

The ASCO Series 040 Gas shutoff Valves, including models 8040 and 8215, are solenoid valves with lightweight aluminum bodies. They are designed for applications that require high flow rates and involve low - pressure air or gas.Thanks to their pilot - operated structure, these valves can function even at zero differential pressure. Elastic soft seats are used to ensure a tight shut - off. An optional design focused on long service life minimizes metal - to - metal contact, extending the valve's lifespan to up to 20 million cycles. The 215 series, in particular, is well - suited for use in vacuum conditions and with heating equipment.

• These valves have flexible soft seats for high flow low pressure air and gas applications.
